On this ultimate food and market experience, we combine cooking, markets, exploring and eating. This is a combination of a morning cooking class with an afternoon walking tour, to create a full day experience.
Everyone knows Bangkok is one of the best cities in the world when it comes to exploring the food scene – that’s no secret. However, with so much food to explore we have decided to create a tour which literally changes every month and allows you to experience something different every time! This tour runs once per month and every month we will pick a different part of Bangkok. We will select 4 or 5 food stops within walking distance of each other.
Some people call Bangkok a city that never sleeps and when it comes to visiting markets it is possible to find a market at any time of night. For a lot of the cities wholesale markets activity peaks at a time when the bars are closing and the city’s vendors, are preparing for their day.
On this late night tour we will take you to 3 or 4 of these markets in Bangkok which could include Ratchada Train Market, Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market, Chinatown Wholesale Market, Saphan Pla Fish Market, Khlong Toei Fresh Market, Khlong Thom, Electronics Market…
Two of the things that Bangkok is most famous for are markets and food, and the area between the Flower Market and Chinatown has probably the greatest diversity of both. This isn’t a shopping tour and it isn’t a full food tour. It’s a walking tour where we explore Thai culture through markets and snacks! As we walk we will pass through several market areas selling a diverse range of items. On this tour we visit areas around Chinatown including: The Flower Market, The Old Siam, Phahurat and Sampaeng
