For those wanting to eat some amazing Thai food in Phuket, here are just a few suggestions for you. However, with so much choice this is not a definitive list.

Laem Hin Seafood

Laem Hin Seafood is among Phuket’s best-known local seafood restaurants. Situated on the eastern coast of the island, Laem Hin is enormous, and generally full at dinnertime and even more so on weekends. The location above the water is delightful, but not exactly romantic. Delicious Thai cuisine and freshly caught seafood are affordable and high-quality. Excellent for a casual dinner night out in a unique location, as the outdoor terrace was built on stilts and sits right above the water and faces towards Koh Maphrao (Coconut Island). This is the perfect place to enjoy Thai seafood dishes.

The place to try a Thai breakfast is Ketho Dimsum restaurant. It offers many different styles of breakfast that Thais eat. The main dishes of the restaurant are dim sum, a Chinese specialty that can be described as bite-sized portions of food served in small steamer baskets. There are several varieties available, such as pork with quail egg, shrimp or tofu. Ketho Dimsum also serves popular Thai breakfasts, such as khao tom (rice porridge), mee sua (wheat noodles eaten in pork broth), and bak kut teh, a classic Malaysian / Singaporean ribs dish eaten in broth. Dim sum is generally served with a light hot tea available on each table, but you can also order a great coffee and a selection of fresh juices to start the day.

Pan Yaah Restaurant is situated on the hill between Patong and Kalim. It’s a cozy casual restaurant near Patong beach, on the left side of the highway. Pan Yaah Restaurant has some of the most beautiful panoramic views of the bay of Patong. Guests will be able to enjoy the perfect view from all parts of the restaurant throughout the day but the vista is especially breathtaking with sunsets. The restaurant allows guests to enjoy the surrounding ocean breezes too. Its warm atmosphere makes for a special dining experience.
